Harmony Abounding

Today, we are experiencing two celestial Grand Trines showering earth with a double dose of good fortune, and couldn’t we all use some of that! The Grand Trine between the Sun, Saturn, and Pluto gives us a powerful surge of self motivation helping us give form to a new aspect of our core identity. The Sun is that dimension in ourselves giving us our sense of being a unique Self different from any other Self. Saturn is that dimension in ourselves that brings discipline, structure, and a sobering authority to our Self. Pluto is that dimension in ourselves which we experience as a chthonic source of power transforming our Self. When these celestial energies are working in harmony we are guaranteed that something in our individuality is transforming and some new aspect of ourselves is coming alive. What makes this Grand trine all the more significant is that the Moon is harmoniously involved insuring that we are comfortable with the change that is taking place to our identity because this change is a nourishing reflection of ourselves supporting and stabilizing our creative self expression.
The Moon is the fastest moving celestial body translating one planetary conversation to another which is one reason why our emotions are intimately connected with every planet. Mars and Uranus are the first planets to receive the Moon’s translation of the Grand Trine. Mars is that dimension in ourselves expressing our courage and daring. Uranus is that dimension in ourselves that is unpredictable and quick changing. Today, the Moon, Mars, and Uranus form a Grand Trine, in the element of water, and together are dissolving, loosening, breaking apart the rigid emotional boundaries we have constructed to protect ourselves from being vulnerable. For the last few months Mars has been our emotional warrior giving us the courage and self confidence to assert our emotional needs so others understand what we need to feel safe, secure, and stable in our lives. Our attention has been focused primarily on our relationships with family members but the real battle has been within ourselves learning to be emotionally independent and to honor our emotional needs as separate from the needs of our family. We have been learning to emotionally trust in ourselves and this week we are offered the golden opportunity to put what we have learned into practice.
The last aspect the Moon makes before the day ends is a square to Chiron in Aquarius and a quincunx to Venus in Aries, bringing us a two fold warning; first, not to isolate ourselves or prevent change from happening because we are resisting the ideas of others, and second, to remember that change requires patience, perseverance, and always courage to venture into the unknown.
