With New Eyes

Today, sandwiched between Mercury going retrograde and Mar’s going direct is the waning face of the Moon; the sobering phase of the Moon’s monthly cycle a time when building tensions demand release. Seven days ago the face of the full Moon illuminated Earth with “potential”; today her waning light suggests the need to change some perception we carry from our past which is preventing us from achieving our “full” potential. I will speculate in general that because this waning Moon sits between Mercury and Mars we need to change some direction in our thinking related to our past which we have out grown. If you have planets in the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius you have a more pressing personal reason to re-examine how your past is effecting the ways you re-act. Mercury and Mars are in harmony asking us to consider a myriad of ideas out in the world by becoming more receptive to the ideas of others. Today is blossoming in opportunities with all the sextiles from the Moon making this a great day for reflecting on the fanciful flight of the bumble bee. Even Venus and Saturn are in harmonious agreement nudging us to thoughtfully reflect on the relationships we most value in our lives. With encouragement from the Moon we are asked to change our attachment to our past and see it with new eyes.
