Generous Love

My last post waxed and waned on the cardinal T-Square involving Mercury, Mars, and Pluto, and failing to include the importance of Venus entering Leo I unwittingly omitted the obvious influence our celestial goddess of love will have upon Mercury stationing retrograde in Libra, and the T-Square by proxy. Venus is that aspect in each of us espousing the universal principles of love speaking in the charmed voice of conditional love, I love you because you love me. When Venus is in Leo our need to be loved assumes a grandeur equal only to the luxurious warmth of the love we generously lavish upon others. Under the influence of such a Venus the radiance of our love shimmers like diamonds of sunlight dancing upon a watery surface demanding of us a luxury and opulence of mind and mood. Venus quincunx Pluto added extra intensity to our need for love, approval, and acceptance in the coming weeks. Self honesty looms large under the tutelage of Pluto and this cosmic signature is warning us to look within to fulfill these needs least we miss gaining a deeper self- love.

Leo is that aspect in each of us learning to love who we are regardless of what others may think or feel about us; never an easy journey fraught with insecurity we struggle for self-acceptance. The creative sextile shared between Venus in Leo and Mercury in Libra is urging a shift in our perception of love, begging an open mind and heart, allowing passion and romance  to flow freely. Mercury in Libra highlights the fine art of communicating by pricking our curiosity with wonderment and directing our attention to intimate relationships mirroring our relationship with ourself. Libra is that aspect in each of us seeking balance and harmony  by graciously correcting that which is lopsided. Mercury Rx in Libra is asking us to re-align some aspect of our communication skills mis-shapened and deformed from misuse or neglect. The month of September heralds a time for self honesty fostering negotiation and compromise to insure that every one’s needs are equally weighed and considered. If we can embrace the magnanimity of Leo and the grace and dignity of Libra this is a wonderful time to share our true thoughts and feelings with those we love without fear of rejection.
