Bringing to Light

Today’s astrology Muse is the intimate contact between Venus and Pluto as each planet prepares to leave Sagittarius and enter Capricorn. I said something about the relationship between Sagittarius and Capricorn in my recent post A Cycle of Renewal. Suffice to say that entering Capricorn is a sobering experience for all and when it pertains to Venus and Pluto we on earth should, now there’s a Capricorn word, be prepared for significant changes in our attachment with those things we value most in our lives. This doesn’t have to be ominous or odious at all, in fact, our ability to flow with change is our ability to grow and evolve. Astrologer, Eric Francis, recently wrote “… This will mean nothing to you if you are committed to keeping your life the way it was yesterday. As I am so fond of reminding the world, progress implies change. Change involves taking a risk…” I encourage you to think of today as the beginning of your opportunity for progressive change in your life, change that heralds lasting significance. I am not suggesting that this period of change will be easy or light weight because when Pluto is involved there is usually something hidden in the situation which is brought to light igniting the necessity for change. It is the process of ” bringing to light” which often causes the initial pain but in time we actually appreciate and value the change in our life.
