“to be nobody but yourself- in a world which is doing its best, night and day to make you everybody else- means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.” e.e. cummings

My passion in the Life has been to “ know thy self ” taking me on a circuitous journey touching diverse cultures, minds, and hearts along my way. I had a life long curiosity about astrology which grew wings to soar when I learned that it is  one of the oldest known systems seeking the significance of human experience. When I began my descent into the deeper waters of astrology I wasn’t expecting to find the treasures I found: astrology’s ancient history and illustrative contributions to myriad human achievement; the rich poetry of astrology’s symbolism; astrology’s superb psychological acumen; and astrology’s living intelligence infusing significance in each moment lived.

I have always been intrigued with the process of transformation, so much so, that for twenty years this was the subject og my work as a visual artist. In 2000 I began to slough my psychological skin directing my attention to other processes of transformation and leaving my art practice to ventured into the  unknown world of yoga and astrology. After a decade of  study, in the end, I have returned to my roots, delighted that the history of western art and the history of western astrology interconnect in the Sumerian culture.

I have begun my professional practice as an astrologer integrating my passion for art with my passion for astrology.  I consider myself  to be a life long student of  both practices committed to learning to navigate the complexities of astrology’s ancient wisdom mirrored in the archetypal images of the unconscious  as they reveal themselves in the images of art making.  For that reason, I have created this blog in the spirit of a 19th century salon, viewed through a 21st century frame, for the pleasure of an informal gathering of people with a shared appetite for astrology and the art of Life.

Let the feast begin!
