WELCOME. This blog is my first attempt to venture into the world and share with others my passion for astrology. Thank you for visiting.

If truth be told my passion in life is to “ know thy self ” and my life long curiosity about astrology grew wings when I learned that it is the oldest known system guiding human consciousness in that direction. When I began my descent into the deeper waters of astrology and entered an intensive 3 year certification program I wasn’t expecting to find the treasures I found: astrology’s ancient history and illustrative contributions to human achievement; the rich poetry of astrology’s symbolism; astrology’s superb psychological acumen; and astrology’s living intelligence breathing significance in each moment lived. I have always been intrigued with any process of transforming, so much so, that I made this the subject of my art making. In 2000 I began to slough my psychological skin directing my attention to other processes of transforming which have, in the end, returned me to my roots. I am delighted that the history of western art and the history of western astrology begin at the same point in time centered in the Sumerian culture. I am beginning my professional practice as an astrologer, having spent all of my adult life making art, but I consider myself a life long student of astrology committed to learning to navigate the complexities of astrology’s ancient wisdom. For that reason, I have created this blog in the spirit of a 19th century salon, viewed through a 21st century frame, for the pleasure of an informal gathering of people with a shared appetite for astrology.
