What a celestial line up above our head this morning rising: the Moon in Sagittarius leading the pack followed by Mars getting ready to enter Capricorn; Pluto, the Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter in alignment in Capricorn; and the North Node, Chiron, Venus, and Neptune in Aquarius. From an astrological perspective one meaning for this deathly darkness is our preparation for an illumination in consciousness. This Winter Solstice is spectacular with the promise of just that because for the first time since the Winter Solstice in 1762 the Sun and Pluto conjoin on the solstice point. Their momentous meeting is launching a cosmic torpedo guaranteed to bring to surface a deeply rooted anxiety shared by our collective unconscious that will illuminate an overwhelming fear of loss in power and control.
