The Chameleon Bringing DeathThe Mercury of today is a multifaceted composite of different deities from different cultures; Babylonian Nebo, Egyptian Throth, Greek Hermes, and Roman Mercurius, to name a few, each adding a unique imprint upon the universal principle of perception, communication, exchange, and travel. A Buddhist axiom “a hundred people a hundred realities”, teaches a compassionate understanding that every human being has his or her unique perception of reality and what constitutes truth. While this may be a simple truism it harbingers complexities that are extremely difficult to navigate when trying to understand one another. Understanding one another is never the objective of our communicating with one another when we areĀ  more concerned with saying our truth and getting our way than hearing what each other have to say. Weighing Our Heart

Ma'at

Following on the heels of a week of stellar activity with Jupiter in Aquarius stationing direct, Venus entering Libra, and Mars entering Leo preparing for a retrograde station near the end of the year, our Sun and Moon conjoined in Libra birthing a New Moon cycle under the guiding grace of peace, harmony, justice, and the sweet taste of self-honesty. At the risk of over simplifying: Jupiter stationing direct in Aquarius expanded our heart and mind to open and receive the ideas of others; Venus entering Libra accelerated our love of beauty and harmony seeking tranquility in our relationships; and Mars entering Leo ignited our willful passion to share our personal warmth and unique vitality with others. Every month the Sun and Moon meet one another by sign and degree promisingĀ  us the conscious awakening of a hidden aspect of ourself.
